super yummy! i got the mixed parfait (mix hojicha + matcha soft serve with red bean, mochi, and matcha jelly cubes on the bottom, topped either matcha sauce). the combo of flavors was so good, i really loved the hojicha, but there could have been fewer matcha jelly cubes and more red bean. overall a great snack though ☺️

I'm a Japanese person who lives in the neighborhood. I used to order the "Matcha Affogato" on the menu quite often because I liked it. At some point, however, I started being told, "We don't have it today," and couldn't order it anymore. The item is still listed online yet, every time I visit, they told me it’s unavailable. The other day, fed up with asking everytime, I finally demanded, "If you say you don't have it *today*, then exactly when *can* I buy it?" The reply was, "It might be tomorrow, it might be next week, or we might never have it again—there's just no way of knowing 😒." You really ought to stop listing items you have no intention of selling; it’s dishonest. I’ve been waiting for nearly two years now.

I really enjoy getting drinks from here! The matcha is definitely superior in comparison to most local places. The drinks have just the right amount of sweetness & the ingredients are of great quality. 4 stars because the drinks can be inconsistent.

High quality matcha latte! I wish I had gotten my drink lightly sweetened as the unsweetened matcha latte was a bit too bitter for my taste. No wait when I arrived around 2:30 on a rainy Friday. Was planning to get their matcha banana bread but unfortunately they were out by the time I arrived. I had a little trouble finding it as I thought it was inside the market. You can enter via the main Mitsuwa Market entrance and then take a left and it is at the entrance of a food court area

I was really impressed with Yamari! The matcha flavor here tastes authentic and rich they use Uji matcha from Japan, which gives it a deep earthy taste and pleasant bitterness instead of just being sweet. I expected a typical soft serve, but it was much more refined. The parfait comes with sweet red bean paste, which balances the strong matcha perfectly if you like a little extra sweetness. Even the cone was stylish, black in color, and made the dessert look elegant. The portion size was generous, and everything tasted fresh. Definitely one of the best matcha spots I’ve found in the U.S., and I’m excited to go back to try more items!
